Had their time !!BUT like everything else they're useless to the avg worker today. All they do since the 70/80's is take $$ from the workers and make CO's move to Non-Union states!. They were needed during the Industrial revolution for workers protections $$/safety. Now OSHA/Gov. (Yeah I hate that too) there is NO need for unions for workers except to suck $$ from them & drive businesses away!! Seen it in WAY too many other industries: Steel/Auto are just 2 MAJOR ones that were driven away from the area's they thrived in due to unions!!
